Scouts is huge
As Scouts, we are dedicated to equipping young people with essential skills for life, encouraging them to do more, learn more, and be more.
Every week, scout groups across the country engage over 460,000 young people in fun and adventurous activities, helping them develop vital skills such as teamwork, leadership, and resilience. These experiences prepare them for future success in various fields, from teaching and social work to space exploration and athletics.
We are a global movement that values bringing people together. We celebrate diversity and steadfastly oppose intolerance, always striving to create stronger communities and inspire positive futures.
But Scouts is also local
At the 9th Maidenhead (URC) Scout Group, we take pride in offering incredible opportunities for both young people and their parents. Over the generations, we have continued to grow, thanks to the welcoming and friendly environment that families cherish.
Our Group’s strength lies in our team approach. Alongside offering fun and adventurous activities for young people, we encourage parents to get involved in a way that suits them. Whether you can help out regularly, occasionally, or at one-off events, your involvement is highly valued.
We understand that some people love to embrace their inner child through active participation, while others prefer to support from behind the scenes. Every bit of help is appreciated and welcomed…..!
We’d love to chat with you, get to know you better, and explore how we can create more wonderful memories together!
